Welcome to the 2025 Christmas Bauble Decorating Competition!
Get out the glue and glitter, its our 6th annual Christmas competition!
This years shape – Christmas Bauble!
If you would like your kids to have a go, call into Bottom Shop and collect an MDF Bauble blank, there is no charge for these, 1 per child until we run out. All we ask is for the Childs name and age so we have a rough idea of how many from each age group to expect. If you’re a big kid (16+) and would like to have a go, that’s good too, however, we would like to see a donation go into the St. Columb Christmas Lights tin for each blank collected. Once you have your blank, entry into the competition is completely free.
Baubles can be decorated however you wish, and once they are done, take a photo just like the example above and email to entry@pgbm.co.uk ensuring that you have your Childs name & age in the message. We will then upload it into the online gallery of the correct category as we receive them
There are 3 age categories this year: ages 5 & under, ages 6 – 10, ages 11 – Adult.
From Midday on the 21st December you, your Mum, Brother, Great Uncle Fred, anyone that wants to can pick the one they like the best, and from each category the one with the most votes by 2pm Christmas day will be the winner! Votes will only count once they have passed email verification.
For the 6th year, there has been excellent local support, thanks to Andrew Hucklesby for providing the example, and if you get the chance, be sure to say cheers to the people below who have helped to make this happen!
For the 5 & unders, Fitness 4 You have generously supported a voucher for a party swim session for the lucky winner and 7 friends.
For the 6 – 10s, Camel Creek have once again generously donated a family ticket for up to 4 people to have a fun filled and exhausting day out at the park.
For the 11 – Adults, Glanville’s are providing £30 worth of gift vouchers to be spent with any of the vendors at the Columba Centre Market Day & a £20 Glanville’s Gift Voucher to be used instore.
Only Bauble blanks identical to the sample above will be considered for entry into the competition. All entries uploaded will display your Childs name & age. There is no cash alternative to the prizes. Fitness 4 You Party Session to be booked direct and subject to available time slots. Camel Creek family ticket is valid for 2 adults & 2 children. Market Day Vouchers only redeemable on Market Days which take place at The Columba Centre once a month and can be used with any vendor, please follow the centre Facebook page to for Market Day dates. Market Day Vouchers expire Jan 2027. Vouchers & Tickets will be distributed to winners around the second week of January. Votes cast with email addresses that cannot be verified or duplicate votes for the same entry with the same email address will be removed. The judges decision is final. While the blanks have been chosen to be as child friendly as possible, please ensure young children are supervised while creating their masterpieces. Glanville’s St. Columb Ltd will accept no responsibility for flying Bauble blanks, the consumption of paint, glue, glitter etc!
